If you are looking for another resource, http://sugardoodle.net/ is a great website with many great ideas for lesson planning.

October: How can I show love for those I teach?

How can I show love for those I teach?

Different ways we teach others?
  • Example, answering their questions, feeling inspired to teach, standing up for beliefs.
  • Who are we teaching? EVERYONE
  • So when we hear the question “How can I show love for those I teach?” we mean how I can I love everyone around me?

Worth of Souls Object Lesson
  • 100 Dollar Bill - How much is this worth?
  • Crumple and stomp and ask how much it is worth again.
    • Nothing we do detracts from the worth of our souls. Heavenly Father still wants us no matter what we have been through. The worth of souls is great in the eyes of God.

Love Yourself First
  • Do you love yourself? Before we can love others, we must love ourselves. Let others serve you.
    • Pray to get to know yourself and love yourself.
    • We are our own worst critic. This is a gradual constant process.

    • I try to help others when they are struggling or discouraged. (Mosiah 18:9)
    • When appropriate, I tell others that I love them and care about them. (Luke 7:12-15) - Tell class you love them
